短命的德國電子Krautrock樂團，由Klaus Shultze領銜，他們的目標在『獲致完美的空間幻覺』，為了理想效果，這張唯一的專輯Golem他們壓了三次才發行（1974）。
整張專輯有些民謠，有些環境音樂（類Brain Eno）或 Cosmic Prog Rock，很迷幻電子。 惟這首歌是整張專輯唯一旋律較成熟且易為人們所接受的（雖然知道的人也不算多，但其中有我）。
一開曲的電子雲如蟬鳴灌耳由遠而近，恰似預告梅雨的到來，濃鬱密佈，一絲詭譎(應說是稀微）的魔音旋律，讓我是第一次聽到就入迷。再看歌詞…綿密惱人的五月雨，誰人歡喜誰人憂，歐洲陰鬱濕漉的古街巷弄，雨花飛濺的石板道，頑童狡黠的雨中嬉笑...... 生動的畫面自眼前浮現。
許多作品甚豐的樂團，後人記得也是那麼幾首，SAND樂團雖只發行一張唱片，就一首堪後人稱頌亦足矣。
Current 93樂團於1992年重唱這首歌，並且改名為When the May rain comes….聽聽看，喜歡誰的呢？
