“Turn of The Centry＂出自英國前衛搖滾大團Yes第八張專輯Going For The One。這首歌講述了雕刻家羅恩（Roan）的故事，他是一位雕刻家，其妻子在冬天去世，在悲痛的同時羅恩“將自己的熱情鑄成了泥土”，雕刻了她的雕像，並使她復活，他妻子的雕塑栩栩如生，他們回憶過去再次墜入愛河。
主唱Anderson從歌劇《波西米亞人》（Labohème）中獲得了靈感，並從希臘神話人物皮格馬利翁（Pygmalion）汲取了靈感，後者愛上了他雕刻的女人的雕像。
Anderson建議這首歌應先在音樂上講故事再寫詞。歌曲的原始形式長度不長，但是隨著樂隊繼續發展這首歌，鼓手Alan White先譜出了這首歌在的鋼琴和弦，並寫出了最初的人聲旋律，Anderson很喜歡並為之寫詞：和弦後來由吉他手Steve Howe做了進一步延伸發展。
