團員簡介：
Auto da Fe is made up of Dave Archdall (guitar and vocals), P. Lars Berry (keyboard and backing vocals), Jeff Curran (bass) and Ryan d onnell (drums).
Lars and Ryan met some years ago in Tainan. In 2005 they moved up to Taipei where Ryan met Jeff from The Deported. Jeff and Ryan played together for a short time in Selling Us Everything, before Jeff left Taiwan. Selling Us Everything continued until the end of 07. Dave met Ryan at a bar somewhere and thought he was a freak, but liked the way he plays the drums. They joined forces in the three piece The Unrelentless which played its last show at the end of 07.
Dave and Ryan planned to continue to make music together, but wanted to go in a slightly different direction, and so roped in Lars as the keyboard player. For five or six months the emerging band played with a bass player who never really jelled. Within a week of Jeff being back in Taiwan the old bass player was let go, and Jeff was invited to play. The songs came together very quickly after that. Within two weeks Auto da Fe played its first show.
the sound
Auto da Fe draws from a wide pool of influences with each member having their own tastes. Auto da Fe has a distinctive sound and all members contribute to the final composition of songs.
With the intense delivery of Davesvocals, and his guitar playing ranging from sparse to thick, Jeffssolid bass, Lars movement from melody to noise, and Ryansconstant bombardment from the drums, Auto da Fe brings The Rock.
